FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ's)

What is the time frame for poured projects and decorative concrete?

A 3-day timetable on a poured foundation wall project, after excavation is complete, is fairly typical. Decorative concrete is a bit more labor and time intensive;about 7 days from starting to completion. First the forms are set and the base is poured.

We then pattern the base color of concrete if it hasn't been pre-colored throughout the mix.

We add any special coloring effects. After allowing the coloration to dry a bit, we do final touch-ups and final sealing.

Factors like weather and the size of the project can affect the schedule.

Is waterproofing necessary?

Over time, cracks can develop in basement walls causing even greater problems. Allen's Concrete Inc. uses an exterior foundation waterproofing system of polymer membranes and drainage and insulation boards.

How far will Allen's Concrete travel for a job?

Our "core" areas surround Green Bay, Wausau, Crivitz and Northern Wisconsin,(Brown, Door, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Marinette and Oconto Counties). We do travel to most parts of the state of Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (U.P).
